It is the smallest and highest-pitched member of the violin family of string instruments, which also includes the viola and cello. All of our violins are hand crafted for EDM by a family owned violin factory in the heart of Jiangsu province. The Violins are hand made with aged maple, with some going through an aging process as long as 6 years. The entire process from wood aging to staining and painting takes place in-house in 6 separate workshop buildings. Each day employees are reminded of how to take pride in their work by a company motto, displayed in the courtyard: "It is easy to do a difficult task once. Difficult part is to perform that task consistently over a long period of time"
