    User Manual for
    Fingerprint Identification Safe.
    Rev 1.0,
    06/07/10

    Features:

    1. The safe is designed to be
opened using stored fingerprints of the user(s). A key is provided in case of
    electronic malfunction or failure.

    2. The fingerprint reader is
highly reliable, with less than a 0.001% false acceptance rate.

    3. The safe can store up to 29
different fingerprints, making it very useful for families, small businesses,
    etc.

    Initial Setup:

    When receiving the safe there
should be no fingerprint information stored in the unit's memory, but it is a
good idea to completely erase the unit's memory to ensure that it is truly
empty of any stored fingerprints. In order to begin using the fingerprint
identification capabilities of the safe, 4 AA alkaline batteries need to be
installed. The battery compartment is located on the inside of the door.

    1. Installation of batteries:

1-1 Open the safe with the
supplied keys. The keys slot is located behind the handle. To remove the
handle, rotate it counter clockwise until it stops rotating, then gently pull
    to remove.

1-2 Insert the key. The notch in
the handle portion of the key should be pointing toward to the top of the safe.
When inserted, rotate the key counter clockwise to open the safe.

    1-3 Remove the battery compartment
cover and insert the 4 AA batteries being sure to correctly match the polarity
    as indicated in the compartment.

    2. Delete all stored fingerprints:

    2-1 To delete all stored
fingerprints, open the safe door either by using the key or with any currently
    stored fingerprints.

2-2 Press the red DELETE button
on the inside of the door and the POWER button on the outside of the
door (the button located just above the fingerprint reader) at the same time.

2-3 A long beep will sound and the
indicator light will shut off, confirming that all stored fingerprints have
been deleted. The safe will now open using any fingerprint.

    3. Register first user fingerprint:

3-1 To store a fingerprint, press
the green ENROLL button on the inside of the safe door. The RED indicator
on the front of the safe door will light.

3-2 Gently press the the finger
you wish store against the fingerprint reader and hold until the indicator
light turns BLUE and a short beep is emitted.

    3-3 Repeat step 3-2 two (2) more
times using the SAME finger. After the third time, the unit will emit a long
beep and the indicator light will shut off. The safe will now only open for
    stored fingerprints.

Add new fingerprints (up to 29
    total):

    4. Register additional user
    fingerprints:

4-1 Open the safe with either the
key or an already stored fingerprint. The steps will be similar to that
performed in steps 3-1 to 3-3, but a currently registered fingerprint will be
required to store a new one.

4-2 Press the green ENROLL button
on the inside of the safe door. The RED indicator on the front of the safe will
    light.

    4-3 Using an already stored
fingerprint, gently press the finger against the fingerprint reader. The unit
will emit a short beep and the indicator light will flash BLUE.

4-4 Similar to step 3-3, gently
press the new fingerprint you wish to store against the reader until it
emits a short beep and the indicator flashes BLUE. Repeat this step three (3)
times. If all attempts are successful, a long beep will sound the the indicator
light will shut off. The new fingerprint can now be used to open the safe, in
addition to any others that are already stored.

    General operation:

To lock the safe, simply press the
button on the front of the door. To open, press the button and the indicator
light will turn RED. Gently press any stored fingerprint against the reader and
wait for a short beep (the indicator light will flash BLUE). The door will
unlock. There is no lockout feature for incorrect attempts, but the unit will
power off after three (3) incorrect attempts. Simply press the power button to
try again with a correct fingerprint.

What to do if the batteries are
    dead:

If you press the power button and
the unit emits five (5) short beeps, it is indicating that the battery power is
low. The unit is supplied with a small grey box with a short attached cord that
has a plug on the end that is similar to a 3.5mm headphone plug. This box can be
used to power the safe in the even that the internal batteries are dead. To
use, insert 4 AA batteries and plug the box into the receptacle on the right
side of the electrical unit on the front of the safe. Operate the safe as
    normal.
